A modern geometric typeface influenced by the work of Dutch designer Wim Crouwel . The angular nature of the design lends itself strongly towards large display applications but because each character is formed from a consistent grid, stylish body copy can also be achieved. I wanted to mix the handmade look with both comic and grafitti, but leaving an organic laid back feeling. The result is this: Pausefisk. A font with smooth, handdrawn curves and a total of 6 different versions of each letter. Pausefisk is actually something from my childhood: when the TV-programs where finished (yes, there were no TV after midnight!) the only thing to see was a camera pointed at a fishtank...and that went on for hours!

Designed at Polygraphmash type design bureau in 1984 by Vladimir Yefimov, with the addition of demi and demi italic. Based on a hot-metal typeface (1962) by Moscow book designer Vadim Lazurski (1909–1994), inspired by the early 16th century typefaces of Italian Renaissance. The typeface is useful for text and display composition, in fiction and art books. An 'expert set' was added by ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1997.

This new font was inspired by the game with different signature styles. I also added 102 ligatures to it. The result is a light and nice font that looks completely hand-drawn. Breaking from our catalog of typefaces to create a new handwritten font family, Modern Love was born out of our desire to see what would happen if we took a step back from the norm. We weren’t looking for the perfection of the many calligraphy techniques, but more of a natural way of writing with the same tools. Our escapist experiment into casual lettering culminated into 4 fonts: Modern Love Regular, Grunge, Rough and Caps. Modern Love Regular is a hand-painted script, each glyph individually designed with a pointed brush and walnut ink. The cover of the 1938 sheet music for "Treasure Island March" had its title hand lettered in a rough-hewn Western style with overtones of Art Deco influence. All of the characters were "cleaned up" for the digital font, but still retain the basic designs with their irregular, eccentric look. The result is Western Deco JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Roper is a western styled font that comes in a sans and a serif version, each version has a regular, press light and a press heavy option. The press versions are a letterpress/stamped style. Although Roper is an all caps family of fonts and was designed as a display font, it can be used in many ways. Fedtspiller is danish and the definition could be someone who plays with a low risk and defensive (at least when talking about soccer) Although there is a slight negative feeling to that, I remember several guys when playing soccer as a kid who benefitted as playing as a "Fedtspiller" :) Anyway, Fedtspiller is a legible comic/text font with softened edges. The Raleigh Hotel at 18th Street and Collins Avenue on Miami Beach is an Art Deco landmark and part of the city's popular tourist district. A vintage matchbook from the hotel had its name hand lettered in what is now Beachfront Hotel JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions. The lower case letters have been made more traditional, eliminating the Deco-influenced "overhangs" present on the capital letters, and an alternate "E" from the original matchbook design is available on the bar and broken bar keys.
